She's wanted a pair of these FOREVER. Found them, yes, turquoise (!) a short while ago at a Ross store (I think) but has not yet worn them (too muddy right now).
Minnesota-girl grew up ice skating. Couldn't resist buying ice skates (from LL Bean) when she came to California, land of almost-no-ice. Yeah, she's made me learn (or try) to ice skate, too: Squaw Valley (full moon nights are great at High Camp), rinks in Sacramento...
Bloch dance shoes, very comfortable; she wears them around the house.
Started roller blading, she did. 15 or more years ago - ? It's an ice skating take-off I guess. Shoe related. Roller rinks work for her, but we've also taken to the bike paths along the Truckee River and around Lake Tahoe.
The latest fad: snow-shoeing. Emphasis on SHOE, I guess. Now she's trying to get me to go, too. What did I get for Solstice this year?! Yeah, all the gear to go...
